2010 Term 4 Intermediate Speech Competition

We have been preparing for our  speech competition by learning and practising persuasive writing skills  in Term 3.

Attached are some ideas to help students prepare for this. Formal speech  skills will be covered and  practised in class at the start of Term 4.

 

Mixed Basic Facts Practice Sheet

  • The Intermediate students are speed tested on their basic facts towards the end of each  month. This is a sample of the Intermediate team's monthly basic facts test.

 

  • You may like to use the attached basic facts practice sheet to help learn, practise and improve basic facts.

 

  • Copy the attached document and save to your own computer. You can then cut and paste the facts to change their order.
