I’ve Lost My Head Because It Wasn’t Connected!

Now that we finally have rain and it has turned rather icy, our students are arriving at school wearing every item of school uniform they possess (just as well layers are in!).  That’s great!  Keeps them warm!  Right up until they, or the weather begins to heat up for the day, then off they come, layer after layer.

Our lost property box is full to overflowing (shame it is not our bank account!) and whilst in many cases the names are emblazoned on every surface and get sent immediately back to the owner by the lovely office ladies, there is an equal number with no name or no readable identification. 

Who is DND or possibly DNO?  I have your size 10 polo shirt, I tried to give it back to you at assembly on Monday but you didn’t realise that was your unique identification code!

While our mission is excellent student achievement, it would be really cool to also do the basic things well.  If you name your kids items well, all over each item and NOT on the clothing label,  we will make sure they get each bit back (as best we can!) GUARANTEED!  Then we can get on with the business of teaching and learning.
