MPSSA Interschool Cross Country

Yesterday 45 of our year 4,5, and 6's competed at the MPSSA Inter School Cross Country at Mountfort Park against 18 other schools from the Manurewa area.

The afternoon started brilliantly with Jaymie Kolose and Veronica Simmons finishing 1st and 3rd respectively in the yr 4 girls 1km race. Villi Fifita came 3rd in the yr 4 boys race. Jordan Jarman was the top finisher for TGS in the yr 5 girls race finishing 7th. In the yr 5 boys race Nathan Van Breugel came 4th closely followed Jovaan Tusevljak in 8th. In the yr 6 girls race Ashleigh Garner finished a well run 2nd and the day was topped off with a brilliant showing from our yr 6 boys Kamaldeep SIngh coming 1st, Joshua Turner 4th and Wade Vendt 11th.
