Science Gameboard Competition July 5th 2010

Four groups of year 7/8 students were busy last term thinking and creating at home their very own boardgame for the annual Auckland University Incredible Science Day. After weeks of work they were ready to enter.

                 

          

They spent Monday July 5th at the Incredible Science event checking out some of the great science ideas and shows. They also had to talk to the judges about what science concept their game intended to teach and how to play the game.

                 

There were about 40 entries and 9 finalist for our year group. We didn't make it into the finals but our games are very cool and all teams did very well answering questions and demonstrating their games.
