ANN RUSH
Kiwi 2 Teacher
I am the newest staff member at The Gardens School, having started
here at the beginning of Term 3. I share the teaching of the students
in Kiwi 2 with Mrs Mary Steele.
I was brought up on a farm in Riverhead, northwest of Auckland. I then
moved to the North Shore where I still live and commute from every
day. So if you want to know the best times to leave to miss the traffic,
I’m the person to see!
I have three children aged 13, 18 and 21 – two are at college while one
is at university.
In my spare time I enjoy sewing, crafts and playing tennis. I am looking
forward to interclub starting soon to improve my game so my skill level
will hopefully rise to match my enthusiasm.
I am really enjoying my time at The Gardens. The school has great
staff, really welcoming and friendly with wonderful children especially in
my classroom!
