I was born in Wellington way back in the year decimal currency began. I
still support the Hurricanes when they play & love to visit the arts
capital of New Zealand. I have lived most of my life in Auckland – the
majority of it in Manukau City. I love sports & have been successful in
competing in Gymnastics, Athletics, Netball & Aerobics to a national
level. I still enjoy the thrill of competing at my weekly indoor netball
games. I have been teaching since 1990, mainly in South Auckland &
have thoroughly enjoyed the many children I have taught over the years.
I had the wonderful opportunity to spend three years teaching in
Shenzhen, China where I learnt to speak Mandarin. I have travelled to
many different countries around the world & enjoy meeting people from
different cultures. I love to spend my spare time having fun in the
outdoors with my two girls and my husband. I have been working at The
Gardens School since 2006 & love working with such positive young
people.
