Weetbix Tryathlon - Mountfort Park Manurewa
Well done to the 24 kids from TGS who took part in the Weetbix Tryathlon today! It was an absolutely beautiful day down at Mountfort Park...perfect for a Tryathlon! Over 600 children participated from all over Manukau and with so many families along to support it was a truly fantastic day.
Each event started with a swim in the pool, followed by a bike ride around the Park and finsihed off with a run. Valerie Villi was on hand to give each child their medal, the kids also received drink bottles from ASB as they crossed the line.
Thankyou to those parents who came to support and encourage their children! TGS will definately be a part of this awesome event again next year....hopefully we can get a huge turnout in 2010.
