School Rebuild

School Rebuild

The Gardens School

The Gardens School is undergoing a total rebuild due largely to weather-tightness (leaky) issues in the original school.

The rebuild was announced in 2014, with the Ministry of Education allocating a budget of $22 million dollars, to complete the project.

The new building will be completed in late 2017.  Following this, the final phase of the project will be the demolition of the Poutama building and the removal of all the temporary classrooms currently on the school field.  Once this is complete we look forward to reinstating our playgrounds, returning our school field to it's former glory and enjoying our brand-new, purpose built, warm, dry school!
